Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree
  • Bachelor's from an accredited institution (or equivalent for international applicants)
• GMAT / GRE

  • No minimum score required; median GMAT ~730
  • Current Booth students or graduates may be eligible for a test waiver
• English Proficiency (for non-native speakers)
  • TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE required
  • Scores must be valid within 2 years

  • Two required MBA essay responses:
    • Career Goals Essay
      Prompt: “How will a Booth MBA help you achieve your immediate and long-term post‑MBA career goals?” (≥ 250 words)
    • Personal Value Essay
      Prompt: Choose one of Booth’s visual prompts and describe how it resonates with your personal values and how you'll contribute to the MBA community. (≥ 250 words)
• Optional Essay
  • Up to 300 words to clarify any gaps, weaknesses, or inconsistencies in your application
• Reapplicant Essay
  • Required if reapplying: Reflect on how your goals or perspective have evolved (≤ 300 words)
• Professional Resume
  • One-page CV showcasing work experience, leadership roles, and extracurricular involvement
• Recommendation Letters (2)
  • One from a current (or former) supervisor
