Requirements

  • A Valid GMAT, GMAT Focus, or GRE Score
    Must be less than five years old. While there’s no fixed minimum, a score of around 600 is expected; the average for LBS MBA enrollees is ~700
  • Application Essays
    • Question 1 (500 words): What are your post‑MBA career goals and how will your experience and the LBS experience contribute?
    • Question 2 (200 words): What makes you unique?
    • Question 3 (Optional, 500 words): Any additional context or insights the Admissions Committee should know
       
  • One‑Page Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    Include details of professional experience, achievements, and clarify any significant employment gaps. Please provide a separate explanation sheet if necessary
  • Professional Reference (1 required)
    Must come from a current or former manager or someone familiar with your work performance. LBS does not accept family members or academic references; reflections should attest to your teamwork, leadership, and character
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency
    Required if you’re not a native speaker or national of a majority English-speaking country. Acceptable tests include IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge CPE/CAE, PTE Academic, or Duolingo. Waivers may be granted at the Admissions Committee’s discretion
  • Transcripts & Academic Records
    Submit a transcript from every degree-granting institution you attended. Certified English translations are required if original documents are not in English. Originals may be requested upon admission
  • Application Fee: £200
    Paid via credit card at time of submission. The application is incomplete until payment is received
  • Visa-related Documents
    If you are a non‑UK or non‑EEA national, you may require a UK Student Visa. LBS provides guidance and documentation support upon admission.
